My husband and I purchased our Florida home in 2017 in the Bayshore area. We are excited about the efforts to redevelop the area into an arts district and like the neighborhood feel. I had considered opening an art gallery over the last few years as the next chapter in a life accustomed to making changes, but it never felt quite right until I saw what was happening in the Bayshore community in Naples. I want to be part of this. I love the diversity of the businesses and the entrepreneurial spirit of the area. So I decided to open an Art Gallery on Bayshore Drive.

Sunnyland Swin Boutique

Once upon a time, two ocean-loving ladies met while working together at a designer resale shop in Naples, FL. Their names were Gladys and Sam and they became really good friends. Eventually, Gladys asked Sam to move into her Sunnyland apartment (hence the name) and allowed Sam to make a mess of her kitchen table sewing bikini drafts and samples. They went to the beach a lot and even bought paddle boards together. The dream became a reality one day when Gladys came to Sam with the resources and options to consider. There was nothing to consider and Sunnyland Swim was officially born. All the bikinis are made of a fabric called Econyl, which is comprised of recycled fishing nets and post-consumer waste recovered from the ocean.
